Our Fellowship
Everyone is encouraged to stay after the main morning services and chat over a cup of coffee.
Many varied social events take place during the year providing a thriving social life for a wide range of church members. Some events are organised with specific groups of people in mind and others are for all. Each event has its own emphasis ranging from purely social to fund-raising to evangelism.
In recent years we have had a church weekend away at Ashburnham Place in East Sussex consisting of teaching, worship and relaxing together. We plan to hold further such weekends in the future. A small group of church members has spent time at Spring Harvest and more recently at New Wine.
Worship
The 0930 service is informal and popular with younger people, especially those with children.
We have a Worship Group which takes part in our 0930 and 1030 services. This involves a number of church members and includes instruments ranging from guitars to drums.
We also have a prayer team offering ministry at the 0930 and 1030 services, and another team offering refreshments.
Towards the end of 2000, we started a new evening service at 1900 on the third Sunday of each month.
