“Breakthru” sessions are currenty (mid-2019) "paused" while we look at a possible re-launch in the future.

“Breakthru” sessions are on Fridays from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm at St. Simon's.

The heart of Breakthru is for the local church to support people in their time of need.

Breakthru supports, encourages and inspires those that come regardless of church and faith background, through practical activity, hospitality and spiritual growth.

We do this by becoming connected through building relationships and in community by creating a safe place for people to come knowing that they are valued, respected and lovingly encouraged to be the best that they can be.

We explore ways to help each other grow spiritually through a directed time of spiritual discussion, or guided activity rooted in the Christian faith.

We provide space and opportunity to share how we can invest in our wellbeing and to help one another Breakthru challenging circumstances and patterns of difficult experiences.

Members of Breakthru put on a "Breakthru Celebration Meal" with home-cooked food and a quiz - the event was thoroughly enjoyed by all! The tables were laid, decorations were made and guests got down to the business of the quiz...

Breakthru was featured in the June 2016 edition of Pompey Chimes.
